Google Apps is a software designed by Google to assist communities, companies and related stuff. You will find that the service offers the following:
o E-Mail account;
Easy to use, fast replies and secured privacy. If you are unaware of a fellow users e-mail, Simply type their name in the Recipent box and it will show up.
o Calender;
Rather well structured, easily operational and can assist. The Administrator [Director] will be able to put down Tasks and Events on individual or groups of peoples' Calender.
o Documents;
People do not always have access to features such as Microsoft Office 2007 and so Google designed their own software, which is a legal copy of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel(Spreadsheet). There is also a unique and very assisting feature I will explain now.
UNIQUE FEATURE:
People complain and fail to co-operate when told they need to publish documents, solo or with partners. Now, Google Apps offers you to SHARE documents with other users, and they can edit one portion of the document LIVE IN FRONT OF YOUR SCREEN. It enables you to get through heaps of work and allows you to see how other people prepare their Documents. It is an enhancement the AWA would have very beneficial results from, and the Administrator can observe it and leave comments.
The software offers a Free Trial for 10 accounts under 1 domain for a month, without having to purchase anything. Then, it is required that the Administrator[s] of the company/community ensure they pay for their account to be valid. If not, the domain name will be reset and the e-mail accounts deleted. This usually takes 7 days.
